Arbuscular mycorrhizae alleviate water deficit in Dipteryx alata Vogel: seedling quality and resilience

چکیده
Dipteryx alata Vogel (Fabaceae) is a fruit tree species native to the Cerrado with ecological and economic potential. However, water deficit can be limiting factor initial growth of this species, requiring knowledge on technologies that alleviate stressful effect. We hypothesized inoculation arbuscular mycorrhizae fungi contributes stress mitigation during after deficit. D. seedlings were subjected two regimes (control: irrigated daily; deficit: irrigation suspension); associated mycorrhizal (AMF): AM- = without inoculation; AM+ Rhizophagus clarum; three evaluation periods: T0 - time zero; F0 zero photosynthesis (seven days restriction); REC recovery (100 days). Water impaired relations, decreasing quality seedlings. showed higher relative content (RWC), leaf area ratio, chlorophyll index, Rubisco carboxylation capacity (A/Ci), which helped in photosynthetic metabolism. Inoculation R. clarum alleviated impact use efficiency, potential, RWC, A/Ci REC. AMF promising management technique production for increasing seedling resilience

In vitro antiophidian properties of Dipteryx alata Vogel bark extracts.
Extracts from Dipteryx alata bark obtained with different solvents (hexane, dichloromethane, ethyl acetate and methanol) were mixed in vitro with Bothrops jararacussu (Bjssu, 40 μg/mL) and Crotalus durissus terrificus (Cdt, 15 μg/mL) snake venoms, and applied to a mouse phrenic nerve-diaphragm preparation to evaluate the possible neutralization of venom effects. Cdt venom neurotoxic effect was ...

BACKGROUND Dipteryx alata Vogel popularly known as "baru" is an important commercial leguminous tree species from the Brazilian Cerrado, which possess medicinal properties, besides its fruits consumption by animals and humans. The use of the "naturally occurring plants" as herbal remedies and foods mainly from leaves, seeds, flowers and roots of plants or extracts require precautions before ens...
متن کاملChemical constituents of the bark of Dipteryx alata vogel, an active species against Bothrops jararacussu venom.
The effect of four sub-extracts prepared from the lyophilized hydroalcoholic bark of Dipteryx alata (Leguminosae-Papilionoideae) dissolved in a methanol-water (80:20) mixture through a liquid-liquid partition procedure has been investigated against the neuromuscular blockade of the venom of the snake Bothrops jararacussu. The active CH₂Cl₂ sub-extract has been extensively analyzed for its chemi...

Background The “Baru” tree (Dipteryx alata Vogel) is an endemic species from the Cerrado biome, but widely distributed within the biome and abundant in several of its habitats [1].The species is also important in commercial terms for recover of degraded areas, and seeds are consumed in natura and are source of raw material for small and middle-sized food industries [2].Thus, a more detailed kno...
متن کاملCombining multiple models to predict the geographical distribution of the Baru tree (Dipteryx alata Vogel) in the Brazilian Cerrado.
The Brazilian Cerrado is a biome of great biodiversity, but detailed information about the diversity and distribution of species in this region is still insufficient for both testing ecological hypotheses and for conservation purposes. Among native plants in the Cerrado, Dipteryx alata Vogel (commonly known as the "Baru" tree), has a high potential for exploitation. The aims of this paper were ...
